Mandate

The mandate of the Centre is to design, build and operate a sustainable, "green" facility for cultural and ecological activity in northern Saskatchewan and to nurture and steward cultural land use at Ness Creek.

The Centre shall be guided by the following principles:

· Celebration
· Fostering Community
· Excellence

Vision Statement

The Jack Millikin Centre will be a vibrant, four-season home to a variety of cultural and ecological events with a focus on community, celebration and education in the boreal forest of Saskatchewan.

Incorporated--November 2007
First Art Auction featuring Mike Hosaluk's Chairs--November 2007
Bylaws written--February 2008
Design Team--ongoing work
ARTfullNESS concept developed December 2008
Charitable Status--December 2008
ARTfullNESS team established January 2009
Forest Art Grant--awarded February 2009
